The Commission is working to create a shared understanding of the impact of climate change in NSW and actions to achieve the state’s legislated emissions targets and adaptation objective.

To do this we conduct independent analysis and engagement to understand opportunities and challenges across the NSW economy to reduce emissions, and help shape vital climate adaptation strategies.

Climate change affects everyone in NSW. That is why our advice takes a whole-of-system approach considering impacts on the environment, communities, businesses, and NSW’s economy.
